The Shivas are a psychedelic, rock and roll band from Portland, Oregon formed in 2006. In the years since forming they have brought their raucous dance party to almost all 50 states, and over 25 countries worldwide, meanwhile releasing five full-length albums and three EPs on labels such as Tender Loving Empire, K, and Burger Records.

The Mothers Ruin Bar was established in 2007 and has flourished with it’s own brand of nights out. Safe and secure from the hustle of the bigger clubs it has a steady clientele of indie kids, rockers and students.
Live music, 80’s, new wave, indie and rock ‘n’ roll nights ensure it’s always a fun night out. Quizzes on a Tuesday with free food and a relaxing atmosphere.
