Matt Hoss is a hopeless romantic (with hopeless being the operative word). This emotionally honest, hilarious debut show discusses romance, awkward sex and heartwarming tales of failing in love. Matt retells his raw stories of bad dates, cringe-worthy displays of affection and his intense, personable and authentic relationship with finding "The One". Romance is a minefield; love is worry. Come see Matt's upbeat, silly and incredibly funny show about finding happiness and loving yourself.

Matt Hoss is the Eric Barker Award winner 2015. Has written and performed on BBC's Grin Up North and has been seen on BBC Leicester. Also he has written for the British Stand-Up Comedy Archive He was the Tour Support for Steve Bugeja, Mark Simmons and Lee Kyle. On top of that he is the host of two podcasts: Miffs and Matt Hoss Talks To People He Likes; and has his own radio show on Darlo Radio.

Description

The Shed first opened its doors in 1994, and became a core part of Leicester’s music scene thanks to the legend that is Kevin Holyland. In 2017, it became time for the venue to grow and develop, and is now run by a new team of dedicated and obsessive music lovers.

After an extensive refurb, the venue re-opened it's doors on 1st April 2017 and now host a plethora of events, giving way to it's new identity as an Experience Venue.

Situated in Leicester’s emerging Cultural Quarter, the venue has always been a new place to discover emerging musical talent. Now, you can also discover your new favourite artist and take home their work (check out the walls when you walk in), find your new favourite comedian, or even a business partner at our networking events.

Now open from 11am Monday - Friday, and 12pm on Saturday, it's no longer just a music venue. We have outstanding coffee and very fast wifi, so you can hang out or host your meetings here.

As well as the vintage Italian coffee machine, there is now an extensive drink & snack selection for you to choose from.

Plus, from 5pm-8pm, there are some great deals on.

Of course, live music is still at the heart of what we do and will always do. Most evenings, there's something on.
