Helter Skelter Late Night Party At Jamboree With The Globo Collective + Balamouk Event Title Pic

Description

On Saturday October 5th at Jamboree, a night of Afro, Mediterranean and Gypsy dance music with The Globo Collective and Balamouk! Be aware that doors are at 8pm for this night. Live music begins at 9.30, and we go on till 2am!

The Globo Collective is a Valencia/Bristol based international musical project which travels all over meeting and collaborating with new artists. With a versatile sound rooted in Mediterranean culture, the band fuse diverse styles and rhythms with socially conscious lyrics to create a fresh and highly danceable sound.

The project is fronted by Elio Arauz de Marcos, who writes infectious and catchy songs in his native dialect Valencian as well as Spanish, English and other languages that he's picked up on the road. As he has travelled all over the world he's collaborated with countless musicians who have helped him to reimagine his tunes in lots of different ways. Depending on who he is playing with, audiences can expect to hear influences from folk, Latin, reggae, afrobeat, jazz and electronic sounds are present in The Globo Collective's music.
