Thursday nights at Jamboree with The London Swing Carousel! Vintage jazz, blues and swing to kick into the weekend in E14. Our opening night's guests are Adam Beattie's Bottletop.
Entry: £5 at the door
The London Swing Carousel is a new night of jazz, blues and swing for connoisseurs and newcomers alike, a night of dancing and dreaming to the beautiful music of the 1920s and '30s.
As with our past Golden Era of Jazz nights at Jamboree, expect to hear classics from the likes of Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday, King Oliver, Bessie Smith and Sidney Bechet, as well as original numbers from a revolving cast of musicians comprising of The Colt Street Four and Adam Beattie's Bottletop. There will also be a touch of French swing provided by Mademoiselle Loulou ♥
Of course, being Jamboree, the night is strictly no dress code. Come swing.
