We're delighted to be back at the most fabulous, underground member's club in East London with our dirty blues & jazz show featuring such classic tunes as "Big Long Slidin' Thing," "You Can't Do What my Last Man Did," and "Don't you Feel my Leg," amongst others.
Along with the tunes, we'll share with you the history of a genre of music, the 'dirty' blues that has rarely seen the light of day since it was first performed in the 1920s-40s by the likes of Bessie Smith, Alberta Hunter, Ethel Waters and others that barely get a mention in blues & jazz encyclopedias.
We're delighted to be joined on sax by Imogen Rodgers.
