For this, the 6th edition of Soup and a Show, we're very excited to be joined by our good pal Liberty Hodes!
Liberty Hodes is a comedian, live performance artist and Chelsea College of Art graduate making big, bright, visually bewildering work about the everyday, pop culture, soap operas, B-Movies, house-wives, sarcasm, shark attacks, hope and dreams (forgotten).
Liberty will be performing her show Hot Commodity, a one woman show which interrogates the effect of capitalism on everything around us and what that means as a young woman trying to find her place in the adult world. Coming to terms with living in a strangely dystopian environment to grow up in, this show explores how everything inevitably gets absorbed by capitalism and how it has built an absurd homogeneous future where people have become products.
Co-starring will be a bowl of spookily seasonal pumpkin soup, and 'the boys', Soup Review.
Its BYOB as per, and tickets are £10, include soup, and are available online or from the cafe!
