Ryan, Paul and Trevor were keen to record some original music, and teamed up with a bunch of friends, including Pianist Alex Wilson, and drummer Tristan Banks; they recorded over 2 days at Steve Winwood's legendary studio.

The result is an album's worth of new tunes in the latin jazz idiom. This concert is the the launch of that album.

Trevor Mires has been at the forefront of the London music scene for the last fourteen years. His performing credits are wide ranging. He has performed with, among others, George Benson, recorded and toured with multi-instrumentalist James Morrison, toured with Sam Rivers Big Band, Michel Le Grand, and recorded with Pat Metheny, Toots Theilmans and David Sanborn.

Ryan Quigley is one of the most in-demand lead and jazz trumpet players in the UK as well as a highly regarded composer, arranger and educator. Ryan has been involved in many projects involving musicians from around the world including Allan Bergman, The Bad Plus, Tim Garland, George Michael, Eddie Reader, and Justin Currie. He has also toured the world with bands such as Salsa Celtica, The Unusual Suspects, The Scottish National Jazz Orchestra, The RTE Concert Orchestra and The Irish National Symphony Orchestra. Ryan leads and writes for his own bands, quartet, quintet, sextet and big band.

From his early acclaim as a prize-winning saxophonist, Paul Booth has continually refined and expanded his talents as a solo artist, composer, arranger and bandleader, whilst establishing an elite reputation as a first-call sideman for major contemporary music artists. Paul has toured, performed & recorded around the world with Steely Dan, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, Van Morrison, The Allman Brothers Band, Bonnie Raitt, Chaka Khan, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Rod Stewart, Kylie Mingoue, Riverdance, Warren Haynes, Marti Pellow, Derek Trucks, Eddie Henderson, Geoffrey Keezer, Clarence Penn and Ingrid Jensen. He has worked with Incognito, Brand New Heavies, The BBC Big Band, Michael Janisch Quintet and the Ryan Quigley Quintet.

By the time Richard Bailey was sixteen he was recording and touring the UK and USA with Johnny Nash and the great Bob Marley. By eighteen he had recorded Jeff Beck's biggest selling album Blow By Blow (1975, Epic/Sony Japan) to critical acclaim and appeared on the film soundtrack Tommy alongside Pete Townsend, Phil Chen and Roger Daltrey. The next decade saw many recordings and tours varying in style from Rock to Reggae to Jazz to Pop and Latin including two world tours with Billy Ocean and Basia. Richard occupied the drumseat with the the excellent British acid jazz/rock/soul fusion collective INCOGNITO for the past 15 years.
More recently he has been an integral part of Steve Winwood's two important return-to-form recordings, 2003's About Time (Wincraft) and last year's Nine Lives (Columbia). His versatility has made him a first-call kitman for four decades whilst maintaining his own unique style keeps him much in demand.

Originally from Uruguay bass player Andy Lafone moved to London in the late 70's and has been here ever since. A leading light of the Latin American music scene in the UK and Europe he came to prominence in the late 80's and early 90's as part of the Jazz Dance/Acid Jazz scene and he has, since then, cemented a reputation as one of the most skilled and creative players on the Latin scene.

IMA nominated musician John Crawford was born in London of English/Spanish Parents. His father played Blues piano, and this is the first thing he learnt to play. He has performed at Montreal Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, Getxo Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scotts, Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, the 606 club, and Royal Albert Hall amongst others. His 2012 release "Ulia River of Time" was nominated in the USA by the Independent Music Awards for best album in the Jazz category.

David Pattman is highly respected for his musicianship and knowledge of folkloric and popular Cuban music. David began his career playing drums and percussion with Django Bates, Tim Whitehead, Chucho Merchan's Macondo and Loose Tubes. He was a founder member of many British salsa bands including; Valdez, El Sonido De Londres and La Clave. He was the percussionist for On Your Feet, the Emilio and Gloria Estefan musical at the London Coliseum and has been a regular deputy percussionist for the Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre in London for the last twenty years. David has played or recorded with Jacob Collier, Paul McCartney, Omara Portuondo of the Buena Vista Social Club , Cachaito Lopez, Cubanismo, Anga Diaz, Roberto Plá, Snowboy, Django Bates, Alex Wilson, Slim Gailard, Carlos 'Patato' Valdez and Daniel Ponce. He has taught at Middlesex University, Royal College of Music, Goldsmiths College and Morley College.
