New Orleans to swing to bebop Jamie Brownfield plays across the spectrum of the first 60 years of jazz. 'Rising Star' in the British Jazz Awards 2012 Jamie has cemented his position as a top trumpet with music that burns your soul. Clarinettist and sax man Julian Marc Stringle plays the same jazz period and has been nominated as top clarinettist in the 2019 British Jazz Awards clarinet section. He has recently recorded a stunning collection of swing standards and originals with USA clarinet maestro Ken Peplowski while his career in British jazz has famously endured at the very highest levels. The Smalls Rhythm section is Mark Edwards piano, Piers Clark rhythm guitar and Steve Thompson bass.
