Impprovers Ukulele Workshop
Ian is an engaging teacher with oodles of patience and a sense of fun. He has run the ukulele workshops at Broadstairs Folk Week for a while now and his sessions are a popular choice.
There will be two levels. You can attend either or both, everyone is welcome.
In the first session(2-3.45) Ian will be showing complete novices how to play chords and using them to play songs together.
In the second, improvers, session, (4-5.45) Ian will be using more chords and ukulele techniques, possibly fingerpicking to play more challenging songs.
The emphasis will be on having fun while learning new skills amongst like minded people.
If you have a ukulele, bring it with you for the workshops, though he has 20 to spare. Be ready to sing and surprise yourself with what can be achieved in a short time!
