Join Limpet Space Race + special guests at the end of a 1 week residency for an immersive sonic and multi-sensory experimental adventure. They will spend the week creating an installation of sonic contraptions, DIY instruments and surround sound, bringing you a show of their 'strange but lovely' and 'one of a kind' songs and soundscapes.
This is the first of a series of sound residencies in the new Upcycled Sounds and Fusion Arts studio.
LIMPET SPACE RACE
Experimental pop duo mishmashing pop, jazz, prog and electronics to bring you 'strange but lovely' songs.
Limpet Space Race formed in December 2017 with Niko O'Brien (FR/IT) on percussion/guitar/electronics/clarinet and Hannah 'Jakes' Jacobs (UK) on vocals/keys/guitar/various bits and bobs.
Their 'fascinating' sound mixes pop homemade instruments and electronics, math pop and prog influences, and have even built a spinning surround sound system. They gig, build sound installations and do experimental collaborations - most recently on a piece for electronics and orchestra.
