Slamtabulous is the new monthly cabaret night with feature acts and a friendly audience-judged 'all form open mic' contest.
Free entry for those performing and a cash prize for the winner!*
Stand-up, comedy characters, poetry, spoken word, storytelling, drag queens/kings/bio, music (acoustic only and no covers!).**
Whatever you have to offer... bring it on!
8 x 5-minute slots available each month for those wishing to compete for the cash prize. Slots must be secured in advance by direct message with The Write Release.
Seating is unreserved and will be a mixture of both cabaret and theatre style. Arrive early if you wish to grab yourself a seat at one of the judges' tables!

* Cash prize is based on the number of paying audience members after expenses have been covered. The bigger the audience, the bigger the prize!
** Only simple props and acoustic instruments allowed. All props and tech must be approved in advance by The Write Release to ensure compliance with the health and safety policies of the venue.
