Following on from phenomenal Ashington shows in 2018 & 2019 we're delighted to be able to announce that, by popular demand, Ariel Posen will be returning to play another show in the town on Monday 27 January 2020, as part of a UK Wide Tour.

Music lovers (guitar players and aficionado's in particular) will by now be well aware of Ariel Posen. Hailing from Winnipeg, Canada, Ariel is an outstanding singer, songwriter and exceptional guitarist of the very highest order. An all-star instrumentalist, Ariel's glorious guitar playing has rightly attracted real attention. His soulful slide work, use of open tunings, and improvisational approach to the instrument are on full display in the online videos he's recorded with both "Anderton's Music" and "That Pedal Show"......well worth a taster watch on YouTube for sure.

Ariel's terrific 2019 debut album How Long showcased not only his skills as an instrumentalist, but his talents as a diverse songwriter. The record cast a wide net, moving from rootsy blues to R&B to melodic rock & roll. The album was packed with beautifully constructed tunes full of sublime musicianship, vocals, hooks and harmonies and rightly received great international reviews and acclaim on its release....we sold an absolute truck load of the album at the 2019 White House show.

Ariel is a great friend of Ashington and the feeling is 100% mutual. A truly outstanding evening lies ahead at The White House as does a warm invitation as always to come and join us. It's purposely a Monday again so all you fine weekend gigging musicians can make it over.
