The João Menezes Quintet explore the sounds of Brazilian music and jazz for a Sunday night at legendary east London venue Jamboree, focusing on Bossa Nova, Samba, Partido Alto, Baião and Choro. They will be playing music from João Gilberto, Noel Rosa, Novos Baianos, João Bosco, Guinga, Jacob Do Bandolim amongst many others.
The band will play two sets along the course of the night. Live music from 8pm.
Jamboree is a grass-roots world music venue and bar hosting Folk, Blues, Americana, Celtic, Mediterranean, Eastern, European, GypsyPunk and Old Time Jazz!
Jamboree is back with a POP-UP adventure in a different venue in Limehouse from December 1st!
