Wednesday night at the legendary Jamboree in east London with live music from Psycho Acoustic Goat. Expect swirling, dramatic, Celtic-tinged folk music propelled by soaring violin and acoustic bass.
Born from the inspiration of the lives of gnarly goats around the world, the band will play two sets across the course of the night.
Psycho Acoustic Goat bio: The herd began in the studio recording a mini album before the violinist goat went off gallivanting around the world 2015. Mr bass goat continued with another award winning violinist Gina Griffin who had previously been signed to Sony for her abundant fiddlers skills.The duo kept things in motion playing many gigs in the south. Bristol and London became favourite regular grazing spots ever evolving the sound to become more dynamic and psycho. The Duo played several festivals in 2016 including Boomtown , Small world, colour fest and Bestival. When Jade the violinist returned Mr goat himself had already left on his travels spreading the Psycho-Acoustic Goat word around Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and even Kuwait playing many gigs and busking for his fuel and food.
Finally the original herd were back together in 2018 and played a few festival gigs, interspersed however due to a broken gammy leg. They continue to play their unique uplifting energetic sound despite all this and are still gathering momentum for next summer!
Jamboree is a grass-roots world music venue and bar hosting Folk, Blues, Americana, Celtic, Mediterranean, Eastern, European, GypsyPunk and Old Time Jazz!
Jamboree is back with a POP-UP adventure in a different venue in Limehouse from December 1st!
