A multicultural concert of songs and instrumental pieces from Iran and Syria at Jamboree, featuring Persian, Kurdish and Arabic music by Peyman Heydarian [satur, daf], Bassel Saleh [ud], Haneen Kiwan [riq], Anastasia Glover [voice] and Kourosh Kouchakpour [tonbak]. Expect a night of sheer beauty and romance.
Live music begins at 8.30pm.
From Shiraz, Iran, band leader Peyman Heydarian is a world-renowned virtuosos of santur, creating cuttingly romantic and evocative rhythms and harmonies.
Jamboree is a grass-roots world music venue and bar hosting Folk, Blues, Americana, Celtic, Mediterranean, Eastern, European, GypsyPunk and Old Time Jazz!
Jamboree is back with a POP-UP adventure in a different venue in Limehouse from December 1st!
