Metal to the Masses kicks off the second heat with a fantastic line up of bands, two of which will progress to the semi finals for a chance to win a spot on the hollowed ground of Bloodstock for their 20th year anniversiary!

Storylande

From the magical shores of the South West, Storylande 's music is becoming a unique and recognised sound. A female fronted Melodic Progressive Rock outfit with three studio albums behind them. Storylande released their debut album 'Fragmented' in 2016 and after a line up change, the band set to work on their 2nd studio album 'Diffraction' which was released in September 2017. Their third album, Secret Journey, was released in October 2019. The band are now earning their stripes and dead set on their music reaching the world stage. Storylande's sound is both atmospheric and mysterious and can transport you into an olde world era where you can almost imagine you are in ancient Britain.

Sora

Sora was formed in early 2017 by vocalist Willow and guitarist James.After a few line up changes (caused by our extremely poor luck finding like minded folks!) Sora was born as a loud (sorry Willow!) and proud rock band, with an ambition never to be pigeon holed. Because of this decision, our writing process is never hampered by a sub-genre, we just write what we want and have fun with it!
