Metal To The Masses - Heat 4 - Thursday Night Thunder At The Palladium Club Event Title Pic

Description

Metal to the Masses kicks off for the fourth heat with a fantastic line up of bands, two of which will progress to the semi finals for a chance to win a spot on the hollowed ground of Bloodstock for their 20th year anniversiary. The last heat before the semi finals, time to bring the thunder!

The bands are:

Pseudomorph

Pseudomorph started back in 2013 when rhythm guitarist Jack and bassist Matt got together for a jam, the original sound ethos was classic rock in original tunings with powerful clean vocals.

Over the years the sound changed, as did the line up. Jason took over on lead guitar (2014) Ellis took over on drums (2016) and Dave took over on vocals (2018). The evolution of the band inevitably evolved the style of the music as new influences were added to the mix.

The bands new sound is hard rock with influences of Seattle grunge and nu metal.

The Pretty Fragile

Industrial Metal for the provocatively inclined.

Heavy, driving guitar riffs, electronic instruments and provocative lyrics; an aggressive yet melodic sound with elements of dark pop. Fans of Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson and similar will feel at home, whilst the overall music's diversity crosses many genres.
Starting off as a solo project of Paul Abrey's in 2013, the Pretty Fragile has evolved into a 3 piece Industrial force to be reckoned with; Catching metal fans off guard across the South West of England with their individual, nostalgia-inducing niche within the local scene.

Ashen

Formed in 2018 from the ashes of Exeter metal band and Metal 2 the Masses 2017 finalists 'Skyborn', the band reformed with a new name, new vocalist, new sound and new mission.
