David North has worked in Norfolk for the RSPB, National Trust and most recently NWT, as well having written several books on Norfolk's wildlife. This talk will explore why nature matters, the reasons why biodiversity is under threat, both globally and locally, and the pressing need for action. Environmental issues are at long last going up the political agenda, but how can we make the changes needed to restore nature and create a sustainable future?
