This year we head to the Sheldonian Theatre in Oxford for our ever-popular and celebratory Gala Concert. Our Chapel Choir will be joined by a professional orchestra to provide a concert of great diversity and finesse which focuses on the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The Form 3 singers will join the Chapel Choir for a curtain-raising performance of the uplifting song, You raise me up, to begin the concert. Talented Form 6 music scholar, Rupert Fell joins the professional orchestra as the soloist in the evergreen Piano Concerto No. 23 in A major.

Two of Mozart's greatest and final works are the main focus, however, with the motet Ave verum corpus serving as a prelude to the composer's justly popular setting of the Requiem mass. Featuring current pupil and OO soloists, and the school's 115 voice Chapel Choir, this promises to be a memorable concert featuring some of the greatest music of all time. Book now!
