Critically acclaimed Vermont-based poet Elisabeth Horan is coming to the UK! Celebrating the launch of collection 'Alcoholic Betty' on Feb 15th, Elisabeth comes to Manchester to share a very special workshop.

1.00pm -2.30pm: Elisabeth Horan leads workshop on 'Art of ekphrastic: find your voice in art'. Exploring the work of Frida Kahlo and Georgia O'keefe. Includes time for both discussion and sharing.

2.45pm-4.00pm: Planet in Peril Workshop
Editor of Fly on the Wall Press, Isabelle Kenyon, will be offering an ecopoetry workshop inspired by photography and poetry anthology 'Planet in Peril'. Writers will be develop an Assay to warm up, reflecting on their their relationship with nature to inspire their writing, with help from the fantastic poetry in 'Planet in Peril' (1 hour 15 mins - time for sharing! ) £7.50 per person.
