Heaven's Gate are proud to present, for the music loving community of Liverpool and Merseyside, the return to 81 Renshaw of two of our favourite UK roots artists, The Dan Webster Band and Ags Connolly. On previous visits to 81 both have shown just why they are considered to be two of the finest live acts on the UK Americana/Country scene.

Dan Webster has been described as, 'one of the U.K's best kept musical secrets and one not to miss!' by Acoustic Magazine.
Americana UK said of him, 'He is the missing link, the joining point, where folk fuses with country as good as you'll hear on any record out of Austin or Nashville - beautiful he is Anglicana'.

Country People Magazine has described Ags Connolly as both, 'A national treasure' and, 'an English Willie Nelson'.
BBC Radio 2's legendary presenter Bob Harris desribed Ags' music as, 'Modern day traditionalism of the very, very best kind.'
Ags is a proud supporter of the Ameripolitan movement, which supports new music with a traditional roots influence.
