An evening of insight into the workings of one of your favorite zines.

Donna Ramone is a writer and illustrator from Bahrain, California and Utah (in that order). Working with Razorcake Magazine for the last ten years, they wanted to write funny stories about weird history, but discussing racism seemed more pressing. She wishes she had a more original pen name, but their punk cred was lacking considerably at age 12and by the time they earned any, she'd already gotten a terrible Ramones tattoo. Daryl Gussin is a writer and musician who has been awkwardly standing around at punk shows for the last twenty years. At some point in his late teens he thankfully decided to become a little more productive and has been working on zines and playing in bands consecutively since then, doing time in such groups as Marriage Material, Spokenest, God Equals Genocide, and many more, as well as being integrally involved in Razorcake Magazine for almost a decade and a half. His writing revolves around the honest, bittersweet, and ultimately triumphant aspects of DIY punk. Community over commercialism, create and destroy. More TBA.
