A Friday cracker at legendary east London venue Jamboree with Garance and the Mitochondries bringing their mix of wild Gypsy folk, French Pop, rock'n'roll, and Gallic flair!
A spellbinding dirty-tango band that haunt the margins between Tom Waits, Edith Piaf and 60s French Pop, Garance and the Mitochondries have an electric yet softly-cinematic sway, informed by charming burlesque and cabaret flourishes and some sublime Gypsy accordion, violin and clarinet touches. The band have recently released ace second album, 'Balance L'aurore'.
Jamboree is a grass-roots world music venue and bar hosting Folk, Blues, Americana, Celtic, Mediterranean, Eastern, European, GypsyPunk and Old Time Jazz!
Jamboree is back with a POP-UP adventure in a different venue in Limehouse from December 1st!
