The Brighton Beach Boys bring to life "Aladdin Sane", the sixth album recorded by David Bowie.
Developing out of the work and character on "Ziggy Stardust", this is the first collection of songs where Bowie reflects on his experience of the US. Written while on the road touring "Ziggy Stardust", this marks the start of his fixation with America. "The Jean Genie" and "Drive-In Saturday" are the hit singles, "Watch That Man" and "Panic in Detroit" reflections of his time on the road. This is an album where Bowie made good on the promise of Ziggy and cemented his star status.
