The Hard Way with Louise Jordan

The Hard Way tells the untold story of Hannah Mitchell a working class woman born on a remote hilltop farm in the Derbyshire moorlands.
She was a self taught, self-made woman who left home at 14 years old.
She became a campaigner, speaker, writer, suffragette, councillor and finally a Manchester city magistrate.
Louise Jordan tells her moving and inspiring story with music, illustration and words.
Louise has been to Highworth before and the White Horse Folk Club and Highworth Historical society are delighted to welcome her back again with this new show.
