Jesus And Mary Chain Special At How Does It Feel To Be Loved? Event Title Pic

Description

Jesus And Mary Chain special.

The Mary Chain are playing "Darklands" in full at the Roundhouse on Sunday March 22nd, so we're going to follow suit and have a Mary Chain special where we play all of "Darklands" over the course of the evening, alongside our usual mix of indie pop and northern soul. This album is packed with pop hits and I still have my Mary Chain singles from the time too, of course - so expect some choice b-sides, the proper, long version of "April Skies", as well as "Happy When It Rains", "Down On Me", "Cherry Came Too" and more!

Please note - the Mary Chain aren't playing or appearing at this in person, it's just a disco. But the best disco!

We play:

The Smiths * The Supremes * Belle & Sebastian * Dusty Springfield * The Magnetic Fields * Love * Orange Juice * The Ronettes * The Ramones * Aztec Camera * Beach Boys * Buzzcocks * The Cure * The Temptations * Velvet Underground * Felt * The Shangri-Las * Allo Darlin' * Otis Redding * The Field Mice * Dexys Midnight Runners * Camera Obscura * The Four Tops * The Go-Betweens * Tammi Terrell * Jens Lekman * Jonathan Richman * Le Tigre * Pat Powdrill * The Sea Urchins * Sleater-Kinney * Os Mutantes * Neutral Milk Hotel * The Left Banke * The Associates * Martha Reeves & The Vandellas
