A FREE lunchtime recital and a rare chance to hear music by Bach, Couperin, Rameau and Avison - all with a slightly French flavour.
String players from the WBHS Early Music Consort will accompany the piece by Newcastle born composer Charles Avison, and we will answer the question on everyone's lips: 'What's the connection between Bach, Couperin & a jar of jam'?
FREE entry, but the concert is given on a 'pay as you feel' basis. It is not for profit, we are raising money for a harpsichord that will allow me to teach the instrument to young people.
