Join Renato D'Aiello, Robert Rossi, Bruno Montrone, Matyas Hofecker and Alfonso Vitale for a hard bop filled night inspired by the music of legendary jazz pianist and composer Cedar Walton.

Renato D'Aiello has become known as one of the strongest and most original saxophone sounds around. His treatments of jazz standards, and originals, both live and on cd, have won great admiration from audiences and the press.

He has been a regularly featured musician at The Crypt over many years.

Renato has played in most of the major venues and festivals in the UK, and since May 2002 he has played regularly in Paris, receiving warm acclaim from Jazz Hot magazine and TSF radio.

Since July 2010 Renato has been running a very successful Monday night event, Acoustic Jazz Lounge, Upstairs at Ronnie Scott's and performs regularly at Pizza Express Dean street.

Trombonist Roberto Rossi was born in Rimini. 
His activity in jazz is vast including a tenure with the great Cedar Walton himself!


Since 2002 he has been the founder and leader of the Lydian sound Orchestra with which he recorded many albums. He has performed with the Paul Motian Electric Be-Bop Band and Lydian sound orchestra at the Vicenza Film Festival as well as other international collaborations.


For over twenty years he has been teaching in state conservatories (since 2001 with a specific chair of jazz: Bologna, Adria, Verona) and in advanced schools.

And finally the superb pianist Bruno Montrone, bassist Matyas Hofecker and drummer Alfonso Vitale complete the line up.
