The Spice of Life is a Soho landmark, historic music venue and is in the heart of London's West End.
Renowned for having a great live sound The Spice of Life and Substance have worked together for over 10 years to bring the very best new music to the heart of the capital.

Wolf Moon
Kelly Lethbridge and Jimmy Owen are no new comers to the music scene, however their new material is starting to take flight and they have recently released their fourth single with Cargo Records Distribution in preparation for the release of their album Mind Over Matter; all of their music is available on all major music platforms.
With the use of vintage gear for great guitar tone such as the 1970s echo-plex and 1960s Marshall plexi sounds, this band create a big feel and ethereal quality.
Wolf Moon signed for a worldwide distribution deal with Cargo records in November 2016 and have been gigging in and around the country as well as a venture to Austin Texas and have already had a great response from their audiences and fellow musicians along with interest from Nashville radio stations.

Ben Chase
With the soul of a Travis Tritt classic and the spirit of a Thomas Rhett hit, Calgary's award winner Ben Chase is the future of country music. Ben is currently writing and recording his debut EP with JUNO award-winning producer, Matty McKay. With a fresh energy, relatable stories, and catchy lyrics, you can't help but sing along. In January 2019, Ben released his first single All Over It to Canadian country radio. The song reached number one on the Canadian iTunes country chart within 24 hours. The song went on to be featured nationally on the Casey Clarke Country Countdown across Canada as The Next Big Thing. He now has 3 singles released to all streaming platforms with a combined amount of over 500,000 streams and two songs that have reached #1 on Canadian iTunes Charts.
Ben Chase has a dynamic and engaging live show and loves nothing more than being on stage. He has received the opportunity to open for Dan + Shay, George Canyon, Clay Walker and Sawyer Brown. He has performed at both of Alberta's largest festivals, Big Valley Jamboree and Country Thunder. Ben is a featured performer at Ranchman'sCookhouse and Dancehall during the Calgary Stampede. He also returned home to Prince Edward Island where he played a coveted spot on the Cavendish Beach Music Festival main stage opening for Hunter Hayes and High Valley.

A pub and music bar on the perimeter of Cambridge Circus, at the corner of Romilly Street and Moor Street. First licensed in 1686 as the George, the current building dates from 1898 and the current name from 1986. (One of the old names, Cantons, can be seen being held by one of the gargoyles on the top of the building).
Famous in the 1960s and 70s for folk music and then punk, latterly it has become a jazz venue and home to SpiceJazz club. Up to 5 real ales from the McMullen range on offer and free admission to the main bar but you may have to pay for some music gigs in the basement.
Upstairs at the Spice is for drinks, eats and good times. Enjoy Great British classics with special seasonal dishes prepared daily by our chefs.
