Don Gallardo, from Nashville, with his heart in the East Nashville sound and scene, but his California roots are never far away. Don weaves his 1970's Laurel Canyon influences into modern roots-Americana, mixing southern and western sounds comfortably.
Don has carved himself a firm following in UK, in clubs and festivals,including a couple of terrace cred. Brighton gigs, and he's asked to bring his band into town on a short visit, playing only four UK dates before heading for Germany.
With Don Gallardo is his regular bass player sidekick, Travis Stock (who is as magnificent a character and player as his name suggests), AMAUK Nominee Instrumentalist Of The Year 2019 Jim Maving on guitar (no stranger to terrace cred. gigs at The Greys and at Loud Shirt) plus Steve Brookes on drums.
Don has released 9 albums during his time in Nashville - the most recent, 2019's 'In The Name Of Good Intentions', includes British/Nashville songstress Lilly Winwood (Steve W's daughter) throughout.
