Formerly based in Newcastle but now based across Britain, Taupe thrive on exploratory improvisation, vivid rhythmic interplay and a ferocious, high energy live show. Comprised of Jamie Stockbridge (Saxophone), Adam Stapleford (Drums) and Mike Parr Burman (Guitar), the band has garnered acclaim for the exuberance of their compositions and their intuitive yet delightfully chaotic interplay.

Last year's tape Get The Keys was an example of their D.I.Y. jazz at its finest, blending a math-rock sense of rhythm with intense bursts of guitar and alto sax. Following a stunning show at Cluny 2 for last year's Tipping Point Festival (as well as shows at Gateshead International Jazz Festival and Lancaster Jazz Festival), we're delighted to bring this unique and innovative trio back home for this headline show.
