Clement Regert's Wild Card is a melting-pot of musical ideas, fusing urban rhythms, hardbop and grooves with Latin and jazz attitude.
For this JazzUp they have a stellar line up which comprises special guests fiery saxophonist Chris Rand (9 Below Zero, Crowd Company) and rising star trombonist Tom White (Incognito, Rag And Bone Man), backed up by the core organ trio of Gabor Dornyei on drums, Andrew Noble on Hammond organ and French guitarist/band leader Clement Regert.
You can expect to hear their famous mix of Afro-jazz, Hard-bop, Samba and raw funk numbers.

Eric (landlord of The Highlander Pub) and Sten (North Herts FM resident hip-hop DJ) spin jazz and rare grooves exclusively on vinyl. With the last live band set finishing at around 11.00, and a late bar til 1am, our JazzUp DJs invite you to hit the dance floor and party in earnest.
