AMELIA COBURN
Since being nominated for the BBC Young Folk Awards in 2017 Teesside's Amelia Coburn has spent much of her time travelling around the world, working and living in France, Mexico and Russia. What she has brought back with her is a clutch of beguiling tales and new songs infused with her experiences and the characters she met along the way. From the comically vengeful wife to the haunting smile of a stranger on the beach the songs are richly evocative, poetic and delivered in Amelia's unique, highly expressive, jazz and folk inflected voice. A striking stage presence and the ability to fill a room with the subtlest of sounds.
This is one of a series of intimate events that Amelia has planned for 2020. Book early to avoid disappointment
