A disillusioned 23 year old Jehovah's Witness breaks free from the controlling cult and lands on the dance floors of 90's clubland. Shunned by his family and everyone he knows, he is not prepared for what lies ahead.
In 1976 Sean's world changes for ever. Dragged into a doomsday cult, by parents who are struggling to find their own identities, the family are brainwashed into believing the end of the world is nigh.
But the route to salvation is not as it seems...
This debut verse play from performance poet Alexander Rhodes, is an energetic mix of agony and total Ecstasy. Set to a backdrop of club classics, Alexander moves effortlessly between the characters and scenes to deliver the chemical highs and pitiful lows.
Expect wry observations, chemically induced inspirations and twisted logic.

Mainly a live music pub,opposite the University student union,but not strictly a student pub. The pub forms part of a large and distinctive former industrial building,the site of Preston's first steam powered cotton mill by John Horrocks in 1794.
An American diner style menu featuring burgers, dogs and wraps is served all day and is also available to take away. Rock music (recorded) is played most of the time and there may be a cover charge on the door for some live music.
