Alan Franks and Charlotte Moore have been performing and recording together for nearly thirty years. With vocalist Patty Vetta, they made five albums of Alan's songs and performed them to great acclaim at clubs and festivals throughout the country. They toured with Ralph McTell and Jake Thackray, who said of them: This is the real boogie, I promise.
The Wishfulness Waltz, a song on their first album, Will, was covered by Fairport Convention and became the title track of one of that band's CDs. Fairport's fiddler Chris Leslie also featured in the second album of Alan's songs, Ladders of Daylight.
