After more than a year in the wilderness Big Boy Tomato have ventured forth from their greenhouses and are back to entertain the masses.
Pop-punk indie Legends. Originally formed in the late 80s, the band was spawned from a mutual love of a good tune, a good drink and a good laugh. Soon regulars on the London gig circuit alongside the likes of Snuff and Mega-City 4 among many other. Whilst touring with the likes of Stiff Little Fingers, Die Toten Hosen and The Toy Dolls, a couple of EPs were released. In 1994 a full album was recorded.
Sadly, the album was never actually released, tragically stashed away on a dusty shelf in some godforsaken basement. As a result, the band started to fray at the edges and eventually, although all on good terms, the various Tomatoes headed off to pastures new. However, 25 years later the Album was redisciovered
Members have since been spotted in The Professionals, Sugarsnatch, The Yo-Yos, The Men They Couldn't Hang, KMFDM, Serious Drinking, The Vibrators and Some Dogs to name but a few.
Also on the bill are young up and coming punk poppers Warning Signal plus more to be announced.
