Even when the recording industry struggles The Rec Rooms remains packed with world class performers from all musical genres. With bookings ranging from Blues, Jazz, Rock n Roll, Soul, R&B and everything in-between, make sure you come in wearing your dancing shoes and do not be alarmed when you walk home with blisters! This really is one of the best places to catch a gig, stand-up comedy performance or good old knees up. The spacious former recreation centre (hence The Rec Rooms name) is sympathetically designed around an eclectic mix of retro record players, old guitars and lights made from old drum kits! With old weathered chesterfield sofas, sit back and sink into a world of musical notes or grab your friend and tear up the dance floor, hanging onto every last note from the band – these nights are all about you and the music…
