Our June SoftlySoftly two old favourite acts of ours -
JACK HAYTER and STEW SIMPSON

If you've never been to one of our events, they're totally uplugged, chilled, relaxed afternoons, where artists play in an intimate space to a listening and attentive audience Each act is equal regardless of fame or lack of it, and the music is presented in a spirit of sharing with acts playing in turn, rather than having individual sets. It's friendly, cosy and fun and a perfect end to the weekend.

Jack Hayter
Multi-instrumentalist Jack was a member of cult indie band Hefner, and has since released a number of quirky, folky albums, including one recorded in a derelict children's home. He has worked on projects for the British Film Institute with the children of North Kent, and his set features some songs about Margate.

Stew Simpson
A brilliant folky northeasterner, Stew is the man with the big voice and the eyecatching moustache. Expect Geordie songs and more, both a-cappella and with acoustic guitar.

Door 2pm, with music till 4.30, it's £3.50 on the door or £3 in advance here. Sorry no children allowed.
