Formed in smugglers dens along the East Suffolk coastline, the East Town Pirates made their way through the punk dives and back bars of ye Olde Ipswich Towne. Armed to the teeth with infectious tunes, they sharpened their hooks in raids on taverns and alehouses around East Anglia before taking their explosive live show on the road and laying waste to the rest of England, Ireland and France. ETP shows tend to see audience members turning up in full pirate attire and singing their hearts out to the 'Voodoo pirate rock n roll'.
In 2011 the band released their self-titled debut album on their own Rumrunner Records label. Reviews were favourable and a vinyl version was later released in Europe by Dirty Punk Records. The follow up, 2013's 'Seven Seas of Sin' is garnered critical acclaim from quite diverse quarters. 'Motorhead meets The Pogues' seems to be an apt description of the ETP sound.
The third album Ship of Fools further pushes the ETP boundaries and was released in 2018 and launched at the John Peel Centre.
Not a band to be missed, it just might be time for you to get your 'Arrrghs' in gear, shake your booty, and join in the fun with the motliest of motley crews around! *WARNING* - This performance may contain clapping, sing-alongs, whoahs, ale, wenches and possibly a conga.

One part Social Distortion, one part Roughneck Riot, one part Toy Dolls
Support from Pussycat and the Dirty Johnsons and The WitchDoktors
The formidable pussycat is renowned for prowling the audience whilst the adrenaline fuelled dirty Johnson boys pound out infectious dirty rock 'n' roll. Like all cats they are hard to pin down and have been described as one of the most incendiary live bands in the uk.
The high impact raw energy of their live shows has been artfully captured in the studio by producer Alex McGowan on their first three albums, 'exercise your demons', 'dirty rock 'n' roll' & 'ain't no pussy'. They have received many great reviews for their freshly squeezed unadulterated aural punk rock 'n' roll assault!
Their fourth album, 'beast', will be released summer 2020.
Pussycat and the Dirty Johnsons have supported Jon Spencer, Thee Oh Sees, The Fuzztones, The Polecats, The Rezillos, Bow Wow Wow, Mad Sin, The Damned and many more big-name bands. They have played hundreds of shows, including annual UK tours and some great festival slots. Their first video 'Trouble with the Devil' has received well over 60k hits.
The WitchDoktors are legends, almost. Formed in 1992 they have long established themselves as one of the UK's leading Rock'n'roll punk bands. The WitchDoktors cocktail consists of a double measures of 70's punk (upbringing of Ramones, Clash, Pistols, Damned etc) and a good ol' full measure of trashy rock'n'roll-a-billy, a dash of 60's Psyche-Out Garage and a bitter slice of country on the rocks!
