Folkroom at The Golden Hinde is London's newest folk night - bringing some of the brightest and most exciting names in folk music today to a unique and fascinating venue.
Eliza Carthy is one of the great voices of the British folk scene today - whether performing a centuries-old ballad or a self-written song, her powerful, nuanced voice, fiercely beautiful fiddle playing and mesmerizing live performances have influenced a whole generation of young musicians.
We're thrilled to present a singular, intimate evening in the depths of the Golden Hinde - a full scale replica of Sir Francis Drake's ship. Eliza will be performing a solo set in the ship's hold for an audience of just 60. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to see one of folk music's finest talents in a venue like no other!
