Following a few very successful workshops at Rosslyn Court, Hughie Gavin is providing a full day masterclass and performance workshop sessions leading to a concert at 6.00 where workshop participants will use the skills and techniques they have learned and practised during the day to showcase their talent on stage in an intimate venue. Family and friends can provide support by attending the concert from 6 pm which promises to be a great event; free to attend, a bucket will be passed round during the evening for donations to support OASIS, the local domestic abuse charity. There will be a bar.
During the day participants will work intensively on their own performance of 1 - 3 songs they have brought and also look at essential skills needed to optimise performance.
The course will be focussed but supportive. The day will include a bring and share lunch. It includes some small group work as well as 1:1 support.
Hughie is passionate in his desire to bring out the best in everyone's voices. He is very supportive and amazingly knowledgeable about vocal technique. He can analyse and suggest techniques to increase voice performance but in a way that doesnt feel challenging or embarrassing.
This is an essential day for those who already perform or wish to perform in gigs and sessions. It will widen individual experience and build confidence by gaining more control over your vocal performance.
