'Welcome To The Magic Theatre'. Hello, it's Richard Leigh, the magician at 'The Magic Cavern', Maybe you would help the shows through the Covid-19 crisis by buying tickets for #TheEventThatNeverHappened - an event that, you guessed it, will never happen!

Buy as many tickets as you like at the prices below and your donation will be helping me survive this difficult period without an audience, and to plan to bring the magic shows back with a vengeance as soon as it is safe to do so.

For all of my time with the magic theatre I have sold my seats through my dear friends at WeGotTickets. They have been supporting grassroots and independent events like mine for almost 20 years and like us all hope to be able to do so for at least 20 more. By paying a small booking fee during this period of uncertainty you're helping to ensure they are here for your favourite venues and promoters including my shows at the magic theatres after all these strange days are in the past.

In the meanwhile, for those who know of my work from the last 36 years, and 20 of those in London, it is just me. I hand make all the magic props, hand paint all artwork on each prop, back cloth and scenic elements. I create each show from start to finish and eventually I Am the magician presenting each magic show to an intimate theatre audience of no more than 50 per performance and have an absolute ball with every audience.

At this moment in time and for the next period of time I am hid away in my workshop in the garden of my house and as the sun goes down on each day I return to the indoor paint room and continue painting. Paint and drink tea.

At the end of this period of uncertainty, as a creative artist I will certainly have so much new pieces of magic to add into the existing repertoire of magic shows to share with you at the magic theatres.

I will look forward to meeting all our friends, loyal customers again and many new guests that find out about the magic shows of Richard Leigh.
