'Danni Nicholls is an artist with the elegance, the voice and the imagination to restore your faith in the visceral power of an original song' Above all it is her rich velvety voice and the emotion within it that makes her one of the country's best singer songwriters of smoky soul, folk-pop and heart wrenching alternative country.
In early 2019 she released her fourth album, 'The Melted Morning' which was again recorded in Nashville. It is a lovely elegant album, packed with great songs.
She will be joined on her latest UK tour by Tom Dibb (lead guitar) and Mark Lewis on bass. The trio got together at the beginning of 2019 and played a full nationwide tour showcasing 'The Melted Morning'. Together they put on a great show.
Supporting Danni will be Town Hall Live favourite Rhiannon Scutt from Sheffield. Rhiannon is a great songwriter and singer and a phenomenal guitarist, who released her debut full length album in 2020.
This concert is rearranged from May 2020, when it was victim of the Coronavirus lockdown.
