A fantastic live event with 3 awesome bands... Thee Scarecrows AKA, Link Bat and the Bat Rays, Paul Groovy & The Pop Art Experience and 2 top D.J's Lee 'Grimmers" Grimshaw (Spinout Show), Charlie Spliff (Trashwax Records)
The Bands.
Thee Scarecrows AKA are a must see live band, totally unique and pure high octane. They play their unique style of primitive rock 'n' roll and with the double drumming scarecrows at the front, a double bass, a cigar box guitar, a one string chicken diddley hoe and a briefcase full of blues that they found on Walton Ranch, expect an energetic live performance not to be missed!!
Their first song ?Scarecrow Man? was an instant success and their live set now includes a bunch of self penned straw stuffed classics as well as covers from some of their influences from The Sonics, Little Walter, Washboard Sam through to The Ramones and even some inappropriate Glam Rock!
Their Stuffin n Splinters 12? orange vinyl sold out so quick they are even rarer than a chocolate tea pot!!

Link Bat & the Bat Rays- fronted by the fabulous Vince Ray...they are an awesome trio who play the great twang-tastic sounds of the legendary Link Wray and they also write their own music in a style that reflects those early recordings. They played The Beatwave Festival in 2018 and went down a storm.

Kicking off our debut night are the fantastic Paul Groovy & The Pop Art Experience are a garage rock n roll band who were formed in the early 80's and this will be their only London show. Expect a high octane performance from these 4 chaps hailing from Portsmouth who for sure are not to be missed.. so make sure you arrive early for this top band..

Over the years the Fiddlers Elbow has cemented its reputation as a professional and alternative live music venue showcasing some of the best up-coming talent London has to offer! It is a critical part of unsigned music in London and hosts live music every night of the year. Thousands of unsigned musicians have graced the Fiddlers Elbow stage as well as several established acts including James Bay who recently used it as a location for one of his music videos. With vinyl’s covering the walls, a rock and roll vibe and awesome staff who love music there really is no- where else to go to discover the best new bands in London!
Travelling by tube: Chalk Farm tube station is served by the Northern line (Edgware branch) and is just a couple of minutes walk from the Fiddler's Elbow.
Alternative tube stations within walking distance include Camden High Street (Northern line, 10 minutes walk) and Kentish Town (Northern line, 10 minutes walk).
Travelling by bus: Chalk Farm Road / Camden High Street is well served by buses from Euston in the south, Hampstead and Islington in the north, and Baker Street & Marylebone in the west. The Number 24 bus stop (Hampstead Heath - Pimlico via Trafalgar Square) is situated right outside the venue.
