Enjoy the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of Clare Country Park and learn the ancient art of making cordage. Learn how to prepare and twist an interesting array of natural materials including lime bast and nettle fibre to create your own beautiful twines.
This wonderful event is being subsidised by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and will be run by The Woodland Haberdasher. It is suitable for over 14 due to the fiddly nature of the workshop.
Weather permitting, this event will be based around a campfire nestled in the Park.
