Our new ?inside and outside? guided tour introduces you to our site, the waterpower that once drove the Derwent Valley?s cotton spinning mills, the main highlights of our museum collections and the story of Belper ? the world?s first cotton spinning town.
The tour will take approximately an hour followed by the opportunity to browse our selection of publications on local and industrial history, children?s books and souvenirs.
The tour has been designed to ensure COVID-19 safe working in conformity with government guidance and numbers are limited to ensure social distancing. Please note that face coverings must be worn inside the museum unless you are exempt from doing so.
