A Buxton Festival Fringe performance.
The rhythm of our earliest, our ?Anglo Saxon? poetry which was then called ?song, is that of heaved oar-strokes, the smith?s hammer blows, and chords struck on the harp. Poet Michael Gibson will follow that rhythm ? more faintly heard today ? back to its beginnings.
Age advisory 16+. No adult content but more suited to an adult audience.
Doors open 5.45pm for 6pm start.
Performed in the upstairs Workshop Room at The Green Man Gallery. One flight of stairs; no lift.
