Bubamara is truly a high energy Mediterranean infused extravaganza - the brainchild of Ivor Pop: a songwriter and performer with an effervescent, internationalist approach to music. Inspired by Pop?s time spent living in a kibbutz and his travels across Europe, Bubamara?s music incorporates klezmer, Anatolian grooves and pre-pop folk music. Expect to have fun in this menagerie of folk-punk exotica.
