we've been able to attract this formidable duo, eager to play a very favourite little venue once again, helping reboot live music here at The Greys.

Iain Matthews was booked to play the Fairport Convention Cropredy Festival with his Southern Comfort band, last year. A certain epidemic intervened then and has just put paid to this year's event, too.
Unable to bring his band MSC, over from The Netherlands, Iain Matthews is determined to get back on stage and perform his songs.
So, contacting his longtime friend and musical partner, local Brighton boy Andy Roberts, they're planning an evening of the best of their repertoire, well known and some favoured gems..
We instantly insisted that The Greys should host one of these very few dates.
These performers are certainly no strangers to The Greys in various combinations, solo, duo and together as Plainsong, the group they co-founded;
Iain as Matthews Southern Comfort;
Andy with Hank Wangford, Spudguns, with Mike Berry in Rox-A-Bit...
