Mother's Comedy Ball is a new monthly comedy night bringing you the funniest and most diverse of London's up and coming comedians.

We are passionate to bring you the best of all London's rising stars, including the talents of women, LGBTQIA, POC, people with disabilities and neurodiverse communities.

JENAN YOUNIS: Jenan is the current BBC New Voices Award winner which led to her own comedy radio show on BBC Three Counties in January 2020, a finalist in this years UK Pun Championships, last years Amused Moose New Act competition, the 99 Comedy Club Bursary (2018), Funny Women, and SE comedian of the year. Her podcast Jenan?s stand up snippets has recently been listed as one of the top comedy podcasts by The Guardian. She regularly contributes to the BBC Asian Network?s ladies? panel and is a founder of the WEAPONS OF MASS HILARITY comedy night for Middle Eastern and POC performers.

LAURA SMYTH: Laura Smyth, Winner of The Funny Women Award 2019, has appeared on ITV, and Comedy Central, and Dave. Described as a ?force of nature? by Steve Bennet, Chortle.

CARMEN ALI: Carmen Ali (also known as April Fiasco) is a comedian, burlesque performer, actor, and general badass bitch. Co-organiser at virtual strip club @cybertease_ and co-artistic director @sexquisite.events, she is a fierce advocate for sex worker rights. TOUSSAINT DOUGLAS: Toussaint Douglass is one of comedy?s most exciting new names. His innovative brand of stand-up mixes the personal with the political, to brilliant comic effect. Joyfully absurd and charmingly awkward with a deceptively subversive streak, there's never a dull moment when Toussaint Douglass takes to the stage. JACK HESTER: Jack is a good craic, high energy comedian, he is a previous finalist in Hastings festival new comedian of the year. A regular performer in top London clubs such as the comedy store , backyard and Covent Garden comedy club.

DICK DENHAM: Dick Denham is a non-binary thirty-something comedian based in London, originally from the Isle of Wight. In his stand-up, he talks about being fem, genderqueer, and a practising (if somewhat lapsed? not for want of trying) homosexal, as well as sharing surreal observations on his lower-middle class London life and British culture.

TATTY MACLEOD: Tatty has performed in Paris, Luxembourg, Switzerland, NYC & Chicago, she trained at RCSSD, UCB NYC & Second City Chicago. Tatty was the winner of "le Best de l'humour London 2018", also a 2 Northdown new comedian of the year semi-finalist and a Funny Women award nominee. Her bi-lingual show: "La Franglaise" was performed at the Apollo and Alhambra Theatres in Paris and the Comedy Store & Brasserie Zedel in London.

And your Comedy Mother for the evening is award nominated, critically acclaimed performance artist and comedian, retired porn star and single mum, Meera Cade.
